The Beautiful Crippler Called Fear

I have never seen such a beautiful crippler like fear.

The way it captures its victim and keep them at a spot without having to use physical chains is something I still puzzle at.

However, I have come to realise that fear is only powerful because we give it our power. It is nothing. I repeat, it is nothing until you give it a second thought and more thoughts. Just like a match stick is useless without its case, so is the flash of misery useless until you give it a second thought.

1 PETER 3:13-15 (MSG)

13. If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped?

14. Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought.

15. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy.

Don’t give fear a vote in your life. Don’t even run little errands for it like panicking and enabling thoughts like you will never be loved, you will not find the right people, you are not enough, God can never forgive you, etc.

God is such a blessing, and He will take you to high places of blessings with Him. You are not disadvantaged, and you lack nothing good. So raise the bars and confess the God you have and the God in you.
