This Is A Story of A Lady…

THIS IS A STORY OF A LADY.

In her house were seven jars, one of which she stopped opening.

She despised this jar.

Aside from its hideous look, on several occasions, she had to go down on her knees during the process of opening it. She would also get bruises on her fingers due to its tightly closed lid.

It was painful.

“Do I have to open it?” She asked the Master.

“Yes,” He said, “You have to open it because it automatically opens the other 6 beautiful jars.” She loved the thought of using the six beautiful jars but refused to bring her to open the ugly jar.

One day, frustrated and tired, she smashed the ugly jar to the floor. Upon the jar hitting the floor, the 6 other beautiful jars broke into pieces.

She broke into tears. “I deserved the contents of these 6 jars,” she said, “Why do they have to break along with the ugly jar.”

Dawn the next day, while she was still sobbing about the loss of her beautiful jars, the ugly jar appeared again. This one was more hideous than the first.

Broken, she walked towards it. She knelt, took a deep breath and opened it.

Oh, the pain she felt from the bruises on her hands.

She placed the jar on the ground and smiled. She felt relieved. With an unburdened heart, she walked towards her bed.

Suddenly, a light shone in the room. A light strong enough to blind one’s eyes. She shielded her eyes from the light with her hands. And when she opened her eyes, she saw the 6 beautiful jars plus an additional one! They were more beautiful than the first 6 jars.

She was amazed.

The despised/ugly jar represents the Jar of Offence.

The other 7 jars represent Love, Joy, Peace, Favour, Wealth, Inspiration, and Global advancement/recognition.

There won’t be a day without offence from people but you must try to live above it all. Opening the jar of offence and releasing everyone who hurt you grants you access to peace, joy, love, wealth and every other beautiful thing in life.

Opening the jar of offence would be a painful process. Forgiving everyone would be difficult. In some cases, you may have to go on your knees and apologize even if you are not wrong, but it will be worth it. What you will gain in return would be more.
