Remember when I said you should pay attention to what is being said to you by the person who wishes to date or marry you?
Another goal of yours during this process is to have a tangible reason you can boldly give your children when they ask you, “Why did you choose daddy/mummy?”
Why them?
In Pst. Kingsley Okonkwo voice, “If you marry for the wrong reason, you have most likely married the wrong person.”
You need to be convince enough from their character strength, consistent actions, ability to take constructive criticism, emotional availability, purpose, God’s conviction, etc. Your physical or mental journal should be your best friend during this process.
Take time to get to know them. Build conviction. In the future, when the wind blows, it is your conviction that would make you sleep in the storm.
I trust the Lord to give you the patience and strength to watch and pray. I pray Him to give you the courage to make the right decisions when you have to for your sake and your children’s sake.
