Dear Single, let’s talk.
When you get to a trader and they don’t have what you want, what do you do?
You leave their store.
When the seller bargain a price you are not cut out for, what do you do?
You leave their store.
But why did Mr X tell you you don’t have a dream, and you still settled for him?
Why did Miss Y tell you you’ll be spending on all her family members and you still enter the relationship – starting something you cannot finish?
You shouldn’t settle for less and you shouldn’t settle for what you can not handle. Marriage should be enjoyed not endured. God has prepared the best for you. Someone that will bring out the best out of you. Someone that will not be a burden.
To add to this, do you know the reason why we go to the market with price list? This is so we don’t forget what we want to purchase or end up buying what we don’t need.
You should also have such a list of the kind of man/woman you want God to give you. Don’t have a mentality of anything goes. Anything doesn’t go with love. You should have a desire and write it down. Present to God. Pray on it. Pray for your future spouse.
I pray God helps you. I pray you are able to see that he knows the thought he has towards you – thought of good and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. I pray that you see that you don’t need to settle for less. I pray your hearts are opened to trust Him for His best choice for you in Jesus name.
